Holiday Baskets Program
A Community Tradition of Giving
For over 40 years, the Holiday Baskets Program has provided holiday gifts and City Market gift cards to families in need across the Roaring Fork Valley. Run entirely by volunteers, the program supports more than 250 families - about 1200 people - in need each year. This effort is only possible thanks to the generosity of our community, and for many families, these gifts may be the only ones they receive during the holiday season.
Become a Holiday Angel
Bring Joy to Families in Need
This holiday season, make a meaningful impact by becoming a Holiday Angel and adopt a family in need. You can choose the size of the family you'd like to support—whether it’s an individual, a family of 10, or even multiple families.
All gifts must be new, with a toy requested for each child aged 12 and under, and a gift card for older children and adults. Every family also receives a City Market gift card, and any additional gifts are greatly appreciated. Click here to view this year's gift guide.

Gifts are due December 6th or 7th at the Aspen Chapel Gallery or St. Peter's in Basalt.

Every contribution counts! You can make a difference by purchasing individual gifts like diapers, winter clothing, toys, or gift cards. These items help fill Holiday Gift Baskets, ensuring that everyone receives something special this season. Your generosity, no matter the size, adds warmth and happiness to families in need.
Support Small Wonders Art Show
Small Wonders is an annual holiday art show featuring affordable pieces under $200 and no larger than 12" x 12". With work from 30 artists, it offers a range of mediums, making it a popular spot for holiday gift shopping. 10% of sales from the show directly supports the Holiday Baskets Program.

Every contribution brings joy and relief to those who might otherwise go without.
